The French-speaking Association for Teaching and Research in Pharmacognosy (AFERP) and the Association of Teacher-researchers of Plant and Fungal Sciences of French-language Faculties of Pharmacy (STOLON) are co-organizing their 4th international symposium.

This event will take place from July 7 to 9, 2025 on the Bastide Campus of the University of Bordeaux. It is co-organized by the three pharmacy faculties of Nouvelle-Aquitaine of Bordeaux, Poitiers and Limoges.

The planned speakers, French and foreign, will represent diverse fields of research on natural substances of plant, fungal and bacterial origin, embracing methodological approaches and varied sensitivities such as genomics, lichenology, molecular modeling, biosynthesis, and the chemistry of wine.

The program will also include an afternoon of varied activities, depending on your interests:

• Practical workshops: pedagogy or annotation in LC-MS,
• Guided tour: University Botanical Garden of Bordeaux,
• Wine tasting: at the Institute of Vine and Wine Sciences (ISVV),
• Free discoveries: Cité du Vin, downtown Bordeaux, etc.

Conferences and presentations will be given in French or English.

The deadline for abstract submission is April 11.
